Stroke
Medical shock is described as a critical health emergency caused due to a sudden drop in blood flow in the body.
Causes: trauma, uncontrolled blood loss, heatstroke, severe infection, poisoning, blood disorders, and third-degree burns.
There are different types of shock that a human body can undergo:
- Hypovolemic (low blood volume)
- Septic (infections)
- Cardiogenic (related to the heart)
- Anaphylactic (allergies)
- Neurogenic (due to the nervous system).
