The procedure, called a nasal endoscopy, allows ENT specialists to see inside your nasal cavity and the openings to your sinus passages. An ear, nose, and throat doctor performs a nasal endoscopy to identify or treat conditions like nasal congestion, rhinosinusitis, frequent headaches, nosebleeds, nasal polyps or tumors, and cerebrospinal fluid leaks.
Nasal endoscopy is also used for biopsy and clearing a child's nose of a foreign object.
