Arthroscopy
An arthroscope is an endoscope used in joint surgery for diagnosis and treatment. Arthroscopy is a minor surgery done on joints via a small keyhole incision. The arthroscope is used to visualize the area better, and any required treatment is immediately performed.
There are three types of arthroscopy:
- Knee: ACL/PCL, torn patella, fractures, dislocated patella
- Shoulder: dislocation or fracture
- Ankle: ligament tears, dislocation.
