Pediatric urology is a subspecialty of the urology department that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of urological conditions in children. These include urinary tract infections, kidney stones, voiding difficulties, congenital anomalies such as hypospadias and undescended testes, as well as diseases such as vesicoureteral reflux. Treatment for these conditions may include medication, physical therapy, minimally invasive procedures, and surgical intervention.
