The Emergency Medicine Department at Aster MIMS Kannur provides ultra-advanced prehospital emergency medical services for both adults and paediatric patients. The department is manned by Emergency Medicine Physicians, in-house Trauma Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Trauma.
The department is well equipped with 25 beds, which includes triage beds, PEM Zone, Red Zone (1st priority), Yellow Zone (2nd Priority ) and Green Zone (Observation and 3rd priority cases). Department manages all forms of Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, poly Trauma, Paediatric and Neurological conditions.
Our Emergency Medicine Department is purpose-planned to ensure that the patient emerges out of the critical phase – by dispensing the most appropriate care in the minimum possible time.
The department functions in close collaboration with other departments such as Imaging, Lab Services, Security and others round-the-clock to provide seamless, comprehensive and quick service in times of critical need.
