Laparoscopic surgery or Keyhole surgeries are minimally invasive surgeries whereby unlike the usual practice of huge incision the required cutting or manipulation or sewing of the tissue is achieved through small incisions through which short narrow tubes are inserted mostly into the abdominal cavity and the necessary action is performed by the surgeon. The benefit is that a small incision that looks aesthetically much better, reduced hospital stay and relatively less chance of infections.
