Testimonials
Being part of the first batch of the MRCOG preparatory course at Aster Medcity, Kochi, has been an incredible journey. This program has provided us with a structured, high-yield approach to MRCOG preparation, combining in-depth theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on experience.
One of the most valuable aspects of the course has been the hands-on training. We had extensive simulation-based learning sessions that covered key obstetric and gynecological procedures, enhancing our clinical skills and decision-making abilities. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, we practiced skills such as instrumental deliveries, obstetric drills, suturing techniques, laparoscopic skills, and emergency management scenarios. These sessions were designed to mirror real-life situations, making us more confident and competent in handling complex cases. Being the first batch, we feel privileged to have set the foundation for this prestigious course at Aster Medcity. We highly recommend this course to future aspirants looking for a wellstructured, clinically oriented preparation program.

Dr. Disha Vasudevan ( MRCOG ST-3 PG Registrar)
I am pleased to write this testimony as a part of the first batch of MRCOG trainees at Aster Medcity.
This has given me the privilege to be involved in the development and establishment of the training program, while also benefiting from the extensive support and guidance provided by the department. This experience has been both challenging and fulfilling, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to learn in such a dynamic and progressive environment. My training at Aster Medcity has given me exposure to a wide variety of obstetric and gynaecological cases, ranging from routine to high-risk conditions. I have been involved in managing complex obstetric emergencies such as pre-eclampsia, fetal distress, and obstetric haemorrhage, as well as in assisting in gynaecological surgeries such as laparoscopy and hysterectomy. The hands-on experience has been invaluable in enhancing my skills in both procedures and decision-making. The mentorship I received has been outstanding, and it has fostered a learning environment that encourages critical thinking and evidence-based practice. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to be involved in audits aimed at improving patient care. As I continue on my journey through the MRCOG program, I am confident in my ability to handle the increasing responsibilities of a senior trainee. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the first MRCOG training cohort at Aster Medcity and look forward to continuing to contribute to the department, while advancing my skills and knowledge in obstetrics and Gynaecology.
