From heart rate monitoring to tracking overall health, explore how smartwatches contribute to heart wellness.

Smartwatches are particularly sophisticated in data collection and are frequently used by the medical community. These devices collect specialized data for patients in cardiology practice, which is important for both ACC patients and normal individuals. Trackers commonly monitor physical activity, such as step count, leading to benefits like weight reduction, lower blood pressure, better sugar control, and cholesterol management. Tracking 10,000 steps per day is a powerful and easily monitored parameter for health, spread over 20 waking hours, including 30 minutes of exercise. Staying active throughout the day helps meet this goal.

Heart rate is not constant and fluctuates based on mood, physical, or emotional stress. Monitoring oxygen saturation is also important for understanding overall health.
