Peripheral neuropathy can impact the ability to perform tasks like cutting vegetables due to symptoms like pain and weakness. Compression of nerves, such as the ulnar and median nerves, can lead to carpal tunnel syndrome. This condition is commonly observed in people with diabetes, thyroid problems, arthritis, and during pregnancy.
