Dr. Badiginchala Naga Jyothi is an enthusiastic and passionate pediatric neurologist with 2 years of experience after her post graduation in Pediatrics. She has expertise in handling a wide range of pediatric neurological conditions, including neurological emergencies, epilepsy, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, headaches, neuromuscular disorders, neurometabolic, neurogenetic disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism and ADHD.
Dr. Jyothi completed her MBBS (2011) from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, and her DNB in Peadiatrics (Certified by National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences) from Dr. Bidari’s Ashwini Institute of Child Health and Research Centre, Bijapur, Karnataka - a 200-bed exclusive pediatric hospital with well-equipped PICU and NICU, providing hands-on experience in handling critical cases and various procedures. She obtained her Post Doctoral Fellowship in Pediatric Neurology from Aster CMI Hospital, Bangalore, under the guidance of Dr. C.P Ravi Kumar. During her fellowship, she regularly participated in case presentations, seminars, journal clubs, and teaching sessions for post-graduation students.
Her dissertations include a study to validate the Score of Neonatal Acute Physiology II (SNAP II) in the prognosis of neonatal sepsis in a tertiary care NICU of North Karnataka, and a comparison of the effects of older vs newer Anti-seizure medications on thyroid function in children with epilepsy - an observational analytical study. Dr. Jyothi is a trustworthy and hardworking Pediatric Neurologist, a passionate learner with a positive attitude, and has a special interest in teaching and research.
