At the heart of Aster CMI Hospital’s Pediatric Department in Hebbal, Dr. Karthik Arigela shines as a Consultant in Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). With a distinguished background in Pediatric Critical Care from leading national and international institutions, Dr. Arigela is recognized for his profound expertise and compassionate approach to managing critically ill children in the PICU and Emergency settings.

Dr. Arigela embarked on his medical journey at JJM Medical College, Davangere, where he completed his MBBS in 2010. His academic excellence was further highlighted when he topped RGUHS University during his M.D. in Pediatrics in 2015. A growing passion for pediatric critical care led him to pursue a Fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care (IAP - IDPCCM) at Apollo Hospital, Chennai. His quest for advanced knowledge took him to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital in the United Kingdom, a globally recognized center of pediatric excellence, where he enhanced his skills in Pediatric Intensive Care, Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care, and post-transplant care.

Beyond his clinical prowess, Dr. Arigela is an accredited faculty member of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP). He plays a pivotal role in coordinating fellowship teaching and training programs, imparting his knowledge and skills to the next generation of pediatric care professionals.
