Dr. Arun Wilson
Associate Consultant - Infectious Diseases
A Clinical Microbiologist trained in the management of infectious diseases and infection control, Dr. Arun Wilson’s areas of interest include healthcare-associated infections, antimicrobial resistance, and complications caused by staph bacteria. He has completed a Certificate Course in Infectious Diseases from P D Hinduja National Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Mumbai and holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Microbiology from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. After completing the MD program, he has been involved in research at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Several of his research articles have been published in peer-reviewed journals. He has also undergone additional training in hospital infections and infection control at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. Dr. Wilson has completed undergraduate medical education (MBBS) from Government Medical College, Alappuzha, and was also an international observer at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), Sweden.
