Dr.Sijith has more than 12 years of experience in the field of Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine. He completed his MBBS, DTCD, MD in Pulmonary Medicine from Govt. Medical College, Calicut. After his postgraduation, he took his DNB in Pulmonary Medicine from the National Board of Examinations. He continued his career by joining IDCCM at Medical Trust Hospital, Cochin under the guidance of a Senior Critical Care consultant.

He is expertise in advanced Interventional Pulmonology procedures through attending various workshops conducted at national and international levels under senior Pulmonary faculties including EBUS, Medical Thoracoscopy, Rigid Bronchoscopy Stenting, and Foreign Body removal. He has clinical excellence in managing cases requiring critical care expertise including invasive ventilation, PDT, and invasive lines. He is also a co-author of a book in Pediatric Pulmonology and has publications in various national journals to his credit. Presently teaching IDCCM and DNB students and he is also an examiner of DNB emergency medicine.
