Dr. Harini Pavuluri is a highly skilled and experienced neurologist with a special interest in epilepsy, sleep disorders, vascular neurology, and neuroimmunology. She has extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological conditions, including adult and pediatric epilepsy, refractory epilepsy, long-term VEEG monitoring, epileptic encephalopathies, sleep apnea, insomnia, parasomnias, multiple sclerosis, NMO spectrum disorders, MOG, and Parkinson's disease.
She possesses extensive expertise in interpreting Video EEG and scalp EEG, having reported approximately 1500 video EEG and 3000 scalp EEG during her training. Her proficiency extends to invasive monitoring techniques, including Stereo EEG and Vagal nerve Stimulation. Actively participating in the presurgical evaluation of drug refractory epilepsy cases, she gained hands-on experience in this field. She has attended around 100 epilepsy surgeries and analyzed approximately 100 intraoperative Electrocorticography (ECoG) recordings.
Her focus extends to refractory Pediatric epilepsies and epileptic encephalopathies, encompassing genetic disorders. She is well-versed in utilizing the Ketogenic diet for managing these conditions effectively.
Additionally, she is a World Sleep Society certified International Sleep Disorder specialist, trained in interpreting overnight sleep studies such as polysomnography and MSLT (Multiple Sleep Latency Test). This comprehensive training equips her with the skills necessary to address a wide array of sleep disorders and contribute significantly to patient care.
