Dr. Sindhu U Muktamath

Dr Sindhu U Muktamath is HOD- Dental Sciences at Aster Whitefield Hospital. She completed BDS from Bapuji College of Dental Sciences, Davengere, and MDS (Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics) from Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCODS) & KMC Hospital, MAHE, Manipal.

She has also done Fellowships in Laser Dentistry and Aesthetic Medicine from MCODS - Manipal, FAGE (Fellowship of Academy of General Education), Certificate course in Intraoral Dental and General Photography. She is also currently pursuing an Implantology course and will be certified under ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists).

Dr Sindhu U Muktamath's practice is exclusively dedicated to the field of Endodontics, Aesthetics and Smile Design. She has also acquired treatment expertise in retreatment, periradicular surgeries, ceramic veneers and laminates, full mouth rehab cases under GA and conscious sedation and has the ability to work with magnification (both microscope and loupes). She has been trained in microendodontics which requires specialized expertise in the field of endodontics, focusing on the use of advanced technology and techniques for precise and minimally invasive root canal treatments.

Her areas of special interest are the management of Soft Tissue with diode lasers and complex endodontic cases with hard tissue erbium lasers.

She is very empathetic towards her patients and firmly believes that empathy is a crucial aspect of the doctor-patient relationship, which plays a significant role in providing quality healthcare and a positive doctor-patient relationship, which, in turn, can lead to better health outcomes and increased patient satisfaction.
