Overview

Dr. Sunitha, is a Senior Consultant and a distinguished specialist in the field of Diagnostic Neuroradiology, with over 16 years of experience. After finishing MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University, she completed her Radiology training from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of higher medical Sciences (SSSIHMS), Bangalore. She then pursued Adult and Pediatric Neuroradiology Fellowships at the prestigious University of Toronto, Canada which is ranked as 9th best in the world for the medical imaging.

She has delivered multiple lectures at the national and international conferences.  She has authored 2 chapters and has several publications in reputed journals. She was a staff consultant at SSSIHMS, Bangalore for about 9 years where she organized numerous conferences and CME programmes. Prior to joining Aster, she worked as a Senior Consultant and Lead Neuroradiologist at St Johns Medical college hospital, Bangalore. Dr Sunitha has been a mentor to many Radiology residents. She is enthusiastic about AI (Artificial intelligence) research in the field of Neuroscience, and has many AI-research collaborations. She can provide expert opinion in all aspects of Neuroradiology.
