Dr. Namita Sinha Verma

Dr. Namita Sinha Verma is the Lead Consultant Radiologist at Aster Whitefield Hospital. She is also Lead, Chest Radiologist for Aster Medical Imaging Whitefield. She has a strong background in radiology with over 22 years of experience in both clinical and administrative roles. Her expertise spans various imaging modalities and includes teaching and leadership responsibilities.
As Lead Consultant at Aster Medical Imaging, Dr. Namita is responsible for consolidating imaging services across all Aster hospitals in India and GCC. She completed MBBS at Grant Medical College, Sir J.J Group of Hospitals in Mumbai and further went on to do MD Radiology at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital (LTMMC & GH), Sion, Mumbai. She has extensive multi-modality diagnostic imaging and teaching experience.
In her previous roles, she has worked as Associate Professor at St. John’s Medical College and Hospital. She also worked as Radiology: Unit coordinator for Columbia Asia Hospital Whitefield. She has expertise in performing imaging guided interventional procedures such as ultrasound guided FNAC, guided drainage, musculoskeletal steroid injections, pigtail catheter insertion, biopsy and CT guided biopsies, pigtail catheter insertions and drainage of visceral collections. She is proficient in interpreting a wide range of imaging studies, including advanced modalities like MR Breast, MR Prostate, and PET-CT. She handles the reporting routine of complex cases including Coronary CT, CT Angiograms, PETCT of chest and abdomen. She has expertise in all modalities including Ultrasound and Doppler, Mammogram, CT, MRI and PET CT.
