Paediatric Spinal Disorders
Pediatric spinal disorders include conditions like scoliosis, kyphosis, and spinal muscular atrophy, each affecting the child's spine differently. Scoliosis manifests through a noticeable sideways curvature of the spine, often accompanied by uneven shoulders and a protruding ribcage. Kyphosis is characterized by an exaggerated forward rounding of the back, and spinal muscular atrophy primarily causes muscle weakening due to motor neuron loss.
