It is important to monitor blood pressure and blood sugar regularly as uncontrolled sugar and high blood pressure can damage kidneys. Dr. Kristin also talks about some of the common symptoms of kidney disease such as blood in the urine and frequent urination. Early detection and treatment can help prevent kidney failure.
