- The move is part of Aster’s strategy to undertake hospital operations management and add up to 500-700 beds in India in the next one-year period
- With this association, Aster increases its bed-capacity to 4380 beds in India
Bengaluru, January 02, 2023: Aster DM Healthcare, one of the largest integrated healthcare providers in GCC and India has entered into an agreement with Vritika Hospitals Pvt Ltd & Bharathi Education Trust for operating and managing G. Madegowda Super Specialty Hospital at Mandya, Karnataka. G. Madegowda Super Specialty Hospital is a 100-bed tertiary super specialty hospital situated in Mandya town, 95 kms away from Bengaluru. This is part of O&M asset light model strategy undertaken by Aster DM Healthcare to add upto 500 – 700 beds in India.
Speaking of the O&M contract, Dr. Azad Moopen, Founder Chairman & Managing Director, Aster DM Healthcare said, "As part of our strategy to take advanced quality healthcare at an affordable cost to the doorsteps of people, Aster is taking over the operations and management of the G. Madegowda Super Specialty Hospital in Mandya. This model has been tried and tested by Aster in Kerala and Andhra Pradesh already and is found to be helpful to provide tertiary care to the Tier 2 & 3 suburban cities."
The G. Madegowda Super Specialty Hospital offers a wide range of services from critical care to cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics, neurology and other specialized centres of sports medicine, family medicine and many more.
