It was our pleasure to host Anna Qabale Duba who won the first edition of the Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award in May 2022. A nurse by profession, a champion of education for kids and adult literacy, and a global symbol, Anna Qabale from Kenya Marsabit County Referral Hospital has been on a tour of India to meet, inspire and learn from Indian nurses.
Anna was earlier crowned ‘Best Nurse’ for her role in supporting education and waging a campaign against antiquated cultural practices like Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in her Kenyan community. Her visit to and interaction with nurses, we are sure, shall encourage more angels to participate in the 2nd edition of the Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award.
