Calicut, 26th February 2025 – The much-anticipated event, “Kiranam - The Ray of Hope,” was successfully conducted at Aster MIMS Calicut Auditorium, bringing together epilepsy warriors, their families, and dedicated medical professionals.

The event aimed to raise awareness, share inspiring patient stories, and explore advancements in epilepsy treatment. With over 100+ successful epilepsy surgeries completed at Aster MIMS, this gathering marked a significant step in fostering a community of hope, resilience, and progress.

Dr. Idrees V, Chairman of Thanal Charitable Trust, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, sharing valuable insights on the importance of support systems for epilepsy patients and their families. Experts from Aster MIMS Advanced Center for Epilepsy (AMACE) also engaged in discussions on overcoming challenges associated with the condition.

Aster MIMS Calicut, in collaboration with Aster Volunteers and Thanal Charitable Trust, has launched “Kiranam – The Ray of Hope”, a free medical support initiative aimed at providing advanced treatment and assistance to underprivileged epilepsy patients.
