Prof. Dr. Benjamin Joseph, Associate Senior Consultant, Paediatric Orthopaedics, Aster Medcity said, “In general orthopaedic practice, it is common for doctors to have children consulting for foot problems. These problems may include those that do not require any treatment to complex disorders that call for specialized surgical as well as non-surgical management. The Paediatric Foot was a specialised CME & Workshop that helped the attending doctors to understand common paediatric foot conditions in children including clubfoot through detailed discussions.”
The sessions were conducted by Prof. Dr. Benjamin Joseph along with Dr. Imthias V K, Consultant, Paediatric Orthopaedics, Aster Medcity and Dr. Cherian Kovoor, Associate Consultant, Paediatric Orthopaedics, Aster Medcity. The topics covered the foot in various conditions such as spina bifida, cerebral palsy, paralysis, clubfoot, etc. The sessions were followed by a discussion and a hands on session for the doctors attending the CME.
The CME was well appreciated by the doctors who attended and they expressed their thanks to Aster Medcity for the opportunity to upgrade their learning by hosting such CMEs and seminars.
